Richmond Public Schools has extended the opportunity for its stakeholders to participate in the Community Perspectives Survey. The deadline to complete the survey is Wednesday, December 31.

The Community Perspectives Survey focuses on topics that impact educational outcomes, facilities and employee satisfaction. Designed and administered by independent technology and communications firm K12 Insight, the survey asks about the Facilities Task Force, workplace satisfaction, safety, school operations, community relationships, school and district leadership, business and community partnerships, and language support, among other topics.

The survey is open to all staff, parents, community members and students in grades 5th - 12th. Parents with a current email address and all RPS employees recently received personal survey invitations. In addition, a public link has also been posted on the district’s YourVoice page, located at http://web.richmond.k12.va.us/AboutRPS/YourVoice.aspx.  Individuals may also take the survey on their phone by scanning the QR code on posters in schools, public library branches and other locations throughout the community.

To be both fiscally responsible and environmental friendly, the district encourages participation through its online survey. However, individuals who do not have Internet access may request a paper survey by visiting their zoned school or by contacting the Public Information Office at (804) 780-7100.
